Before his carpentry career, Ken completed a BA of Science from SUNY New Paltz with a concentration in Innovative Studies. Having focused in environmentally appropriate technology/ Solar Design he designed and participated in the construction of a Passive Solar Underground Structure under a Department of Energy grant at SUNY New Paltz

History
Operating as a carpenter in Ulster County since 1984, Ken formed his LLC in 1995 specializing in renovations and new construction, both residential and commercial. In 2004 he widened his scope to include building gardens, orchards and farm infrastructure for clients as well as for his own business VLY Farm.
